Painted Enamel Vase with Poppies and Butterfly, Small Floral Enamel on Metal Vase, Vintage Cabinet Vase
$79.00
A joyful little painted enamel vase, its pale sky-blue ground covered with red poppies, blue chrysanthemums, butter-yellow blossoms, and lush green leaves, with a blue butterfly fluttering near the shoulder. The rims at the mouth and foot are finished in warm brass-tone metal.
This is enamel painted on metal, in the Canton enamel tradition, giving it a smooth, glossy surface and jewel-like colors.
