A graceful porcelain swan planter in classic blue and white chinoiserie style. The swan glides with its neck curved in an elegant S, its wings and tail hand-painted with overlapping feather details in deep cobalt blue.
A planter in the back
The swan's back is hollow, forming an oval planter opening with a smooth white-glazed interior — a cachepot for a small potted plant, orchid or a little arrangement of fresh or faux flowers. It also works beautifully empty, as a sculptural centerpiece.
Base stamp
The underside is stamped in blue: "MADE IN CHINA / FOR DECORATION ONLY" — a modern decorative export piece in the classic chinoiserie taste.

Sold as shown. No chips, cracks or repairs are visible in the photos, and the glaze is glossy and bright overall. Honest notes:
- The unglazed foot/base rim shows dirt, scuffs and light wear from display and storage (clearly visible in the base photo)
- The interior of the planter opening is clean white glaze with light surface marks from use
